New A6 Saloon - Setting a new standard for executive motoring

With a broad portfolio of innovations, fuel-efficient engines and outstanding performance, Audi is once again setting the standard for executive motoring with the new A6 saloon.

• The engine options include a 2.0-litre TDI 177PS, 3.0-litre TDI 204PS, 3.0-litre TDI 245PS and 3.0-litre TFSI 300PS, working in conjunction with key technologies such as the start-stop system, energy recovery system and ‘thermal management’.

• The A6 2.0 TDI manual is the most efficient in the range – 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds, top speed 142mph, up to 75 miles per gallon (according to the ‘combined cycle’ test) and 129g/km of CO2. 

• Multitronic CVT or manual transmission for front-wheel drive models and seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission for quattro versions.

• Composite aluminium and steel construction means the 2.0 TDI model weighs just 1,575kg, 15% less than an all-steel equivalent, for improved agility, economy and emissions control.

• The chassis combines superior comfort with sporty precision.

• Standard equipment on the SE model includes alloy wheels, leather upholstery, cruise and front and rear parking controls, SD-based satellite navigation, Bluetooth phone preparation, split/folding rear seats and light and rain sensors.

• S line models have 18-inch alloys, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, sports suspension and upgraded leather upholstery.

Options include a head-up display, night vision assistant, parking assist, blind spot warning system, comfort seats with heating, cooling and massaging functions, 1,200-watt Bang & Olufsen audio system, Bluetooth connection and various connectivity upgrades for the MMI system.
